Welcome. We’d love to have you join us.
Every Sunday we gather as a church family to grow in our love for Jesus, for each other and for our city. We do this hearing from God’s word, the Bible to grow as disciples of Jesus.
But, you don’t need to be a Christian to come along. We’d love to have you with us if you’re exploring things, not sure about God or Jesus, or maybe, even, returning to God after a long time away. Everyone is welcome.
What to expect
Come in through the gate to the School Hall.
Inside, you’ll be warmly welcomed.
Wear whatever clothes makes you comfortable. Most people dress casually.
Expect there to be families with kids, aussies, internationals & uni students.
Inside you’ll see a welcome table. On it are free Gospels, a free Explore book and usually a sign in sheet for Kids Church.
Sit where ever you’d like.
Bathrooms are just past the kitchen. There are bathrooms available for those using a wheelchair.
Most Sundays
There will be singing, praying, public Bible reading and hearing God’s word taught. Join in with these to whatever extent you’re comfortable. It’s fine to just listen in.
We have a kids talk in church before kids head out to kids’ church.
There is usually a question time after the sermon / talk. It’s fun!
We don’t collect an offering at church. Those who are growing with us give in other ways.
We have welcome dinners or lunches every couple of months so keep an ear out for these.

Look out for our Risen Church A boards and banners near the Lillian Ave entrance. Park in the school or on Lillian.
