Jesus Christ: the Unexpected King

Jesus was the Messiah the Jews had been desperately waiting for and the Saviour all nations needed. But when he came, he defied every expectation.

His acts of power marked Him as divine, yet his miracles were so powerful that some believed he was aligned with Satan. At the same time, his teaching, his compassion and mercy were utterly astonishing.

Even his closest followers struggled to understand his path to kingship— surrendering jis life and facing God's judgment for us. He was the King no one expected.

Jesus still has the power today to defy our expectations, and set us on a new path for life - one greater than our expectations.
