Does it matter how a Christian lives?

Some Christians don’t seem to care how they live. Others seem to be uptight moralists. Does it matter how a Christian lives? The Bible’s answer is absolutely!

Here’s a short answer to this common question just to get you started.

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good

Why do Christians go to church?

Every Sunday morning Christian trundle off to church? What’s with that? Is it to keep their KPI’s high with God? Is it to make sure other people think they are good? Is it because they hate sleeping in? None of those.

Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.
